Still loved progress

We've been very busy lately with behind the scenes jobs, more funding application and preparations. We sent off 500 goody bags with our medical consultant Dr Alexander Heazell to the 2014 International Conference on Stillbirth, SIDS and Baby Survival in Amsterdam, to help spread word about Still Loved. The conference screened our new teaser and put information in all the delegate bags about our film, so news should be spreading world wide now.

We've also finished our brand new, beautiful teaser and launched our latest crowdfunding pitch, both of which you can see now on our Donate page. Please support us if you can, we really need your help to get this film finished and on your screens.

Now we're working hard to get a big fundraising event we'll be holding on the 15th October planned. This is International Baby Loss Remembrance Day. On this day last year we held our spectacular Wave of Light event in Chesterfield, attending by hundreds of families. You can see beautiful footage from this event in our teaser, mentioned above.
This year's event is a very different sort. We will have a candle lighting at 7pm, to honour all the babies, but the main focus of the evening is a fundraising event to help us gain investment from private businesses to get through post production.

It will be held at Fusion in Sheffield, a beautiful organic cafe in the heart of the city. Invites will be sent out soon to local investors who might want to generously support our film. The night will comprise of a delicious dinner, live jazz music, singing and magic! We'll be holding an auction with some fantastic prizes. There will be a talk and presentation about Still Loved and we'll screen our trailer. People will be invited to make pledges via laptops on the night, to our crowdfunding pitch and the highest pledge of the evening will win a fantastic 4 - 5 day break for 4 people at the absolutely gorgeous Rural Roosts
luxury lake side self catering holiday pine lodges in Lincolnshire! We're also having a spectacular cake made for us by the super talented Pippa at Cakes by Cherry Pie. We've chosen a butterfly theme, being one of the main symbols of baby loss. This cake may well be part of the auction, or a special prize.

We're busy watching and reviewing rushes from the past two years of filming. Our Director, Debbie Howard, will be starting working with our Assistant Editor, Will Winfield over the next few weeks, trying out some sequences, prior to beginning work with our main Editor, Joby Gee, in November.

Exciting times at Still Loved as we begin on the final phase of the film. But we still have a lot of money to raise to help us complete. So please support us if you can. If you go to our Donate page you can see all the different ways you can help us, and the wonderful rewards you get in return. There are copies of the film up for grabs, your name in the credits, dedications for a baby on the film credits, tickets to our premier and lots of other great perks. So please help us get finished if you can, we really can't do this without you.

Thanks.
The Still Loved team.
